Who Am I?

Thanks for stopping by! Here are a few things that will help you get to know me better:

I'm from Hawaii and went to Punahou School (if you're familiar with such things). I moved to Seattle in 1994 for college at the University of Washington, where I studied microbiology. In 2005 I got an MBA from Seattle University and recently became a certified PMP (Project Management Professional).

In 2006, we spent the year traveling around the world. 40 flights, 32 trains, 101 beds, and 29 countries - we loved it.

Now, I'm a partner at Common Craft with my husband Lee. We produce online videos in a style called "Paperworks" that makes complex things easier to understand. Along with helping to develop the video concepts, I edit all the videos and manage the business.

Throughout my life, I've seen too many people have big dreams but little understanding of what it takes to make them happen. I want this site to be a resource for people who want to be more responsible with their time and money so that they can plan their next big adventure.

You can also find me on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.

Email is the best way to get in touch with me.
