Lucky we live Seattle. (Not a typo. Welcome to another Hawaii reference: Lucky we live Hawaii) Nowhere else can you experience it.

I’ve read a few rave reviews of Amazon Fresh - the impeccable service and quality, the ease of the site, and the sheer convenience. Even my brother, the inevitable critic, says, “everything was perfect.” I do echo them for a Seattle service in its infancy. But for me, the decision to switch was just as important.
As many of us are, Lee and I are busy. Sometimes we’re working into the 1am hour without a thought of it being strange. For us, it’s more exhilarating than exhausting. But what does become exhausting is keeping up with the normal house duties at the same time.
After a few discussions, Lee was ready to hire a regular cleaning service. I saw it differently. I actually don’t mind cleaning the house, and to be honest, I’m not really comfortable with some stranger coming in my house on a regular basis. This is MY space. What else could we get help with?
My suggestion was getting groceries delivered instead. It would save time and the frustration of driving there every couple of days. Granted - it’s my time and my frustration being saved rather than Lee’s, but as a result, Lee obviously gets more reliable and happier help keeping up with the dog hair.
What about the cost? Their prices aren’t bad - about the same and often less than regular prices at the grocery store. The amount I pay for the lack of great in-store sales, is so much less than any cleaning service would be on a regular basis. And delivery is free over $25 or $50, depending on delivery time. Something had to give, and this was the happiest and cheapest option for us.
And let’s not forget the excitement when Lee opened the door for the first delivery. “Hi! Can I take your picture? It’s our first time!”

And it certainly won’t be the last. I know it’s early, but we’re already huge fans.
